Problem to Flash a Hex-File into the KitCon-163 with Phytec 16W Flashtool

Hello

I compile and link my sources without any Problems (Error) then I start my KitCON-163, activated the
Bootstrap-loader and Connected to the device.

After this I try to load the Hex-File for downloading but I can't read the file -> Error message " A Error occured while opening the file ! "

What can I do????????

  • I use µvision2 and generate the h86 file after this I try to open this file with the 16W Flashtool from Phytec -> Only with this Flashtool I got access to the Kitcon board, FlashTool3 and the old FlashT didn't work.

I don't know the 16W flashtool (do you have a link?). And our product uses a custom made tool for the bootstrap download. So I'm affraid I can't help you.

I suggest contacting Phytec or look to a support forum there. Did you manage to get anything working using the Flashtool? Example projects or something?

The error message suggest a simple file-not-found or perhaps an incorrect format? The latter can be checked by building an example project.

    Good luck,
