Getting MATLAB to read from C167

I am using the C167 with 4 IR sensors. They give an analogue output and i connected them to P5.0 of the C167.

I used the MEASURE program from the kit's CD and is able to see the voltage changes on the C167 thru the debugger. By pressing 'R' the entire list of recorded voltages get displayed on the screen.

However, i need these voltages to be stored somewhere in a text file, or to get MATLAB to read it.

Can it be done?

Really appreciate it if someone could help me.

Regards,
TH.

  • The C167 knows absolutely nothing at all about MATLAB. Neither does it need to.

You simply need to write C167 code to send the data to the UART.
Depending on your specific requirements & target capabilities (about which we know nothing), this could be as simple as just printf.
