Hello! We have a problem using the new Keil v5.27.1. The new editor does not allow you to print characters in Windows 1251 encoding. Before that, Keil v 5.24 a was used and there were no problems with it. Using UTF-8 encoding will not help us, because our projects use a lot of string variables in the encoding "Windows 1251". I really hope for Your help. Thank you!
We are currently planning to purchase a new Keil product license. But without Keil encoding support for "Windows 1251", we can't do that.
I don't have experience of using "1251", but would say that you don't need to use Keil uVision to print. Any suitable text editor can be used to print your files.
I use uVision to BUILD the projects, but rarely use the editor within it - preferring to use my favourite general purpose text editor for editing/printing files
This is true.
But, at the price you're paying, I think it's reasonable to expect that such basic stuff should work!
@ALEKSANDR You should discuss this direct with Keil (or your local distributor).
I contacted a colleague, he has already acquired a license. He also had a problem with the encoding. He sent a support request and received the following response: "I was again talking to our developer, but I am sorry to say, that the status which we have prepared is not going to be modified in a foreseeable time.
Kind regards, Ralf " It is a pity that the Keil editor still can not implement support for different encodings.
