creating own disk image for usb mass storage example

Hi,

In MCB1700 USBMem example, how can I create my own disk image? I'm referring to the disk image inside DiskImg.c that stored in DiskImage[MSC_ImageSize].

I tried creating an image using WinImage software with a volume label and then injecting a file into it. Then exporting that image as a C file using another software which gives me the HEX version, but it was not recognized by the PC.

Appreciate if some one can let me know how that initial image is created.
