Hello,
I am very new to LPC2148. And I want to do simple LED blink example program in the beginning. I have written code but I do not know how to dump hex file. Is it done using UART ???? Can any one help please.
Thank you, Ragi
As a starting point I recommend to: - install MDK-ARM V5.17 ( http://www2.keil.com/mdk5 ) - open the Pack Installer ( www2.keil.com/.../ ) - and select NXP's LPC1700 Series - install the Device Family Pack for the LPC1700 - and open the Blinky-example project to see how the LED's are configured
Note, it is required to install the ARM7-Legacy-Pack for a LPC2148-support: www2.keil.com/.../legacy
To get to know to MDK-ARM V5 and its features, refer to Keil's Learning Portal at: www2.keil.com/.../
Hi Kopsch,
I have installed MDK. Ant have created hex file. But the problem comes when dumping hex file into the chip through flash magic. It says "Operation Failed. Failed to autobaud - step 1." I am stuck here.
I assume that you are using Flash Magic, right? Please compare the jumper J14: J14 - UART#0 and ISP "ALL ON" (4 jumpers all together)
you may also try to lower the baud rate. If the problem persists contact the Flash Magic Support: http://www.flashmagictool.com/
