"i want to clear the only the bottom row in my LCD on MCB2300 board"
Why would this be in any way specific to the MCB2300 board, and/or the NXP LPC2368 micro controller?
Do you suppose that it is a special display - different from all other 2*16 LCD dot matrix displays - designed and manufactured specifically and exclusively for the MCB2300 board, and/or the NXP LPC2368 micro controller?
Isn't it far more likely to be a perfectly standard 2*16 LCD dot matrix display, so that it will work in exactly the same way as any other standard 2*16 LCD dot matrix display on any other board with any other microcontroller?
I AM NOT SPECIFIC ABOUT THE BOARD . BUT I AM NOW USING KEIL BOARD . I JUST WANTED TO KNOW HOW TO CLEAR A SINGLE ROW IN THE ABOVE MENTIONED DISPLAY.
These text displays are very well estabished products, so there's a vast wealth of stuff already out there on the net, in books, etc - have you tried searching?
Have you looked at the LCD controller datasheet?
