I am very new to this subject. I have a cypress developer board EZ-USB FX2LP. I just want to connect the board one side to the usb-port and other side the IDE port to HDD. When I plug the board to PC, the device manager shows EZ-USB FX2LP EEprom missing.... I have the Cypress EZ-USB development kit installed. What file (HEX,IIC,...) do I have to download to the board, that it works as a USB2IDE bridge?
Cypress has distributed the source code on their web pages,
CY4611B - USB 2.0 USB to ATA Reference Design www.cypress.com/
But currently, they withdraw it for maintenance. The web page says it takes a couple of weeks.

my board has a CY7C68013A chip, I don't know if the SW for CY4611B is OK?
See the schematic on the web page,

Hey Tsuneo, you made my day, thank for posting to the right link. I followed the instructions in the documentation...and I could flash the board and it renumerated. I connected a CF card to the IDE adapter, and everything works perfect.
Thank you again...
On the board, there is also a place for ATA/ATAPI connector, do I need to flash with different iic-file for accessing a HDD (S-ATA drive)?
:-)
