"Editor: Go To Definition Of.."

To my mind it is not enough easy to use this feature by right clicking and browsing in popup menu. And it have no shortcut.
Can i add a shortcut for it(ctrl+d), or better make it by double-clicking?

  • I'm not sure that I understand your problem or problems. Are you trying to switch between tabs by double clicking in the Project window ant the file is already opened? If that is your problem, just View->Functions. They will show up in the same space as the Project Window. Clicking on a function will bring the file focus to the foreground.

  • Al, thanks, it helps a little. It is wrong to search for bypass ways, but there's nothing to be done. Nevertheless the program good!

    ilya,

I use external editor many years of programming in plain C, because I'm happy with it and I know most of the features I need and I'm able to write (edit) code relatively quickly. The various IDE editors have various features, but mostly not all I would need ;) Anyway e.g. when writing something in other languages (e.g. Visual Studio C++/C#), I'm starting to tend to use their IDE, because it starts to be useful - and finally has working code completion ;) I'm glad the uVision IDE inspires here. Maybe year or two and I will use its editor.
