I've attempted some searching for this but I've thus far been unsuccessful. I am attempting to add in a build # (already have version #'s) too my code. However I can't see any way to execute a batch file or something like that when any compilation occurs. Granted I could end up with over a million build count that really isn't as annoying as not being able to have one.
Suggestions of where and what to look at?
Thanks, I don't believe it's in my C51 7.50A with the BETA version of uvision 3. (having looked it's not ) I have Device Target Output Listing C51 A51 ... my guess it's simply because it's an older version of uVision (the beta none the less).
Perhaps I should have stated the compiler and IDE version my mistake.
Stephen
IF you're into using BETA releases, why not just get the BETA release of UV4: http://www.keil.com/uvision/uv4.asp
Well the update 7.50A had the beta version in it (I guess that is a better way too look at it). Erstwhile thanks for the suggestion I may need to migrate that route instead. I cannot change the compiler at this time (because the project is nearly complete) and I will need to do some work to be sure my current tool set can't be destroyed (something that happens with Eclipse <mutter> at times).
Stephen.
The Compiler is separate from uVision - so you should be able to update uVision without affecting the compiler...
