UVision and running something prior to compilation start

I've attempted some searching for this but I've thus far been unsuccessful. I am attempting to add in a build # (already have version #'s) too my code. However I can't see any way to execute a batch file or something like that when any compilation occurs. Granted I could end up with over a million build count that really isn't as annoying as not being able to have one.

Suggestions of where and what to look at?

  • Well the update 7.50A had the beta version in it (I guess that is a better way too look at it). Erstwhile thanks for the suggestion I may need to migrate that route instead. I cannot change the compiler at this time (because the project is nearly complete) and I will need to do some work to be sure my current tool set can't be destroyed (something that happens with Eclipse <mutter> at times).
