Big Question - ?

Hello guys

Very exited about the 8052, it is a dream come true. extremly promising for me

i know about the source stuff and the main goal of the 8052 being "compatible" for older parts

but are any of the major developers interested in making things for the 8052?

if so, what will it be the medium on which the stuff will be on?

thanks

Not at all - the main goal of the 8052 is in implementing (relatively) small embedded control applications.

"any of the major developers interested in making things for the 8052?"

Who do you consider to be "the major developers"?

"what will it be the medium on which the stuff will be on?"

For the 8052 to actually run it, it will need to be in some sort of semiconductor memory connected to the processor's CODE space - usually Flash or (E)PROM.

In terms of delivering it to the "customer" to load into the execution memory, it could be on any convenient medium!
