i have a kit to modify a game controller for rapid fire capability, can i just read and save a image in c and rewrite it to another chip and it work?
The code is in binary form so it does not matter what compiler i use to import the file? If i have a programmer cappable of read the code out of the chip than i can program that code to a same uC? I am very sure the code is protected so i am supprise if i read out all ZEROs?
oy vey, a common thief...if all went well, the manufacturer/class mate locked out the chip against praying using JTAG. So, is it urgent homework or what?
please please please please please@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
this is not homework
i must get to next level
The next crime level of criminal activities, I'm sure. So, are you sitting in a counterfeit factory in downtown Beijing? Buzz off.
You mean, you want to cheat at the game?
no i want to move and fire faster
A common method that does not involve any software is to modify the game controller with an external pulse generator that fakes a suitable number of button presses/second as long as the real button is pressed and held.
This is a lawful modification that should work with most controllers and is easy to implement.
If you don't have the electroncs knowledge, then you should be able to find a number of informative pages from people who have done it. Just try Google and remember that this kind of modification does not require that you google for your specific hand control. All you need is a bit of electronics, and the ability to insert your circuit between the original switch and the PCB. And optionally that you add an extra switch - unless there already is one to abuse - to control if auto-fire should be on or off, i.e. if your extra electronics circuit should send the fire button directly to the original electronics, or chop it up into many pulses.
1) If it Locked You Can not Read it. 2) If you could read it You would not get C code back. 3) Is it an 8052 based chip? PICs seem the popular choice for the XBox 360 rapid fire mod.If so try " href= "http://www.acidmods.com">http://www.acidmods.com 4) It is only cheating if you as playing online. 5) Don't ask how I got sucked it to knowing anything about this.
Q: You mean, you want to cheat at the game?
A: no i want to move and fire faster
And you want to do that by cheating - ie, you can't/won't learn and/or train how to do it, so you want some "performance enhancing" electronics instead.
back at the dawn of video games maybe. I had stiff hands and sore fingers. Now the games are loaded with cheat codes. Playing some of them with out them just wastes a lot of time. Cheating your self in a game is your business. On a net game it is different. But allowing 12 to 48 triggers a second? I blame that on the programers. That or I am just rationalizing (No, I do not have a Xbox).
"4) It is only cheating if you as playing online."
How did you get sucked into knowing anything about this?

Never mind! </edit>
