HI.. i am using ht640 encoder ic for my transmitter circuit. in the datasheet it is given tat the ic has 10 bits address outputs and 8 bits data output...altho there are only 7 pins for Address/Data...and 11 pins for address...is it ok if i use one of the adrress lines for data??i want to send 8 bits of data...
thanks
Never rely on "derived" works; always go straight to the "source" document - in this case, the manual

well...actually the the pinning diagram on the datasheet of ht640(page 2 and page 11) do not match...on page 2 they have given 8 A/D pins and on page 11(application) they have given 11 address and 7 data...maybe they want to indicate tat for tat particular application they have used 11 address and 7 data pins...although the aplication seems generic...neways i did get my circuit working...
How about giving a link so that we can see it for ourselves?
