sound Sensor?

I plan to build robot with a 8051.
It will have full artificeal intelligence that will interpret voice commands and 3dee video recognition.

But i have a problem with the plan because i want the robot to turn to the perons when it hears the voice.

The problem is how to make 20cm dimention robot can sense the direction of the voice.

please help make my dream come true > <

    Voice and image recognition and AI with a 8051? Why would anyone try to do this? Oviously wrong tool for the job. That's like trying to build a space shuttle with sticks and glue.
    You'd have a much better outlook if you used PC-compatible hardware. This way you'd have access to libraries built for what you are trying to achive.
    Build something simple first. Then add new features. Small ones. One at a time. That would be much more realistic.
