memory

Hi dazheng,

Need to know ... what is EEPROM used in MCU for ?. I know EEPROM stand for Electrical Erasable Programming ROM but I need to know what's the purpose or where it going to be used in MCU?

I ask this because some of MCU dont have EEPROM ( EEPROM = 0 byte) ie 80NC535 & 80NC321 and the best thing about this MCU (without EEPROM) that's its cheaper than MCU with EEPROM. If it just minor used and can solve it in other method (and not effect my project) , I will use it as I need to lower the cost as much as possible.

Any instruction (ie in proton) that must be used on MCU with EEPROM ?

More explanation greatly appreciated.

Thanks

zuisti

  • Hi ziusti,

do we we get the 2543b? i think the nmck-45892zr is better(bcoz bigger voltege).

And my proposition is an additional soft-start circuit with an R-LC and an SiAg-diode ...

does you somone have an idea of how to do a control of an induction single phase motor , i ve done one project in my life but it was for three phase, it was depending on the fase angle i think been a long time ive done it, do ou think i can use this priciple with a single phase motor that is monitor the phase via an opto coupler fed to a mcu and the mcu drive an optocouple to drive a triac by pwm?, my pump is is rated 0.5hp my problem is that i have installed a pump for my bathroom and the maximum pressure for my shower heater is 3 bars and my pump is working at 4 bars, the main problem i fear is that the pipes in my shower get damaged quickly and secondly the frequent start of the automatic pump will damage the stator of my motor.

if she goes backward the water is suck up shower; LOL

    thanks in advance

  • "do
    we
    we
    get
    the
    2543b?
    i think
    the
    nmck-45892zr
    is
    better(bcoz
    bigger
    voltege).

    And
    my
    proposition
    is
    an
    additional
    soft-start
    circuit
    with
    an
    R-LC
    and
    an
    SiAg-diode
    ...

    does
    you
    somone
    have
    an
    idea
    of
    how
    to
    do
    a control
    of
    an
    induction
    single
    phase
    motor
    , i
    ve
    done
    one
    project
    in
    my
    life
    but
    it
    was
    for
    three
    phase,
    it
    was
    depending
    on
    the
    fase
    angle
    i think
    been
    a long
    time
    ive
    done
    it,
    do
    ou
    think
    i can
    use
    this
    priciple
    with
    a single
    phase
    motor
    that
    is
    monitor
    the
    phase
    via
    an
    opto
    coupler
    fed
    to
    a mcu
    and
    the
    mcu
    drive
    an
    optocouple
    to
    drive
    a triac
    by
    pwm?,
    my
    pump
    is
    is
    rated
    0.5hp
    my
    problem
    is
    that
    i have
    installed
    a pump
    for
    my
    bathroom
    and
    the
    maximum
    pressure
    for
    my
    shower
    heater
    is
    3 bars
    and
    my
    pump
    is
    working
    at
    4 bars,
    the
    main
    problem
    i fear
    is
    that
    the
    pipes
    in
    my
    shower
    get
    damaged
    quickly
    and
    secondly
    the
    frequent
    start
    of
    the
    automatic
    pump
    will
    damage
    the
    stator
    of
    my
    motor.

    if
    she
    goes
    backward
    the
    water
    is
    suck
    up
    shower;
    LOL"
