Hello I'm want to get into embeded systems design and am wondering what the kit I should obatin to get me onto a good start?
Thanks for the reply.
What I am after is the complete kit, from processor i.e. (80C51) to programmer i.e. (Dataman 40 Pro) and dev software.
What are others using to program their devices.
I have had some experience with a MC68HC11 device
well, you entered under C51 so I'll have to GUESS you wnat to work with the '51
What are others using to program their devices. a) if program means write/compile/assemble, then Keil b) if program means put the code into the device, then it is TOTALLY device dependent.
more words do not make you appear stupid, it makes you appear preceise.
I'd suggest you start with a SILabs f12x devboard. That gives you EVERYTHING (protoboard, compiler, assembler, linker, loader, "ICE" and more) for $99
