hi friends! There are lot of "Universal Programmers" claiming a huge supported device list. I have used Micromaster WinLV48(Discontinued) and PINMaster48. WinLV48 was the best but company discontinued the upgrade support. I need to know which one is the best programmer currently available? My points are given below >Price doesn't matter >Windows 2K and XP support >USB and (Optional) Parallel Interface >Max supported device >Upgrades for Programmer Firmware >Upgrades for IDE >Upgrades for New Devices >Maximum supported Hex File Formates >Hex Editing >Custome Test vectors for LOGIC ICs (i found it in WinLV48). I saw a lot of programmers on the web. Each says a lot about itself. But i need your advice if you have used or know about any good programmer. Thanks in advance! Have a nice day!

we are very happy with the BPmicro programmers we have.
BPmicro support their programmers (expanding the device list) for ages and gives you a two year warning when a model is to be cut off from support.

PS stay away from Zeltek, we bought a programmer directly from Zeltek (to save running to production in the other end of the building for those that programmed a chip a month) and two months later, when asking about support for a new chip was informed that the device we bought was no longer supported.
