I have a build process which invokes uVision 2 from the command line approximately 30 times and runs for around 12 minutes on an AMD 64 X2 3800+.
Each time uVision is invoked, it displays the splash screen, which makes my otherwise perfectly-capable-of editing-at-the-same-time dual core pretty much unusable for the duration of the build.
Does anyone know of a way to eliminate the splash screen, or should I just drink more coffee?
Thanks for the suggestion - but it didn't work for me.
I opened it, minimised it, then used <right-click; close> from the task-bar. I then ran my script and uVision 2 opens minimised, but still creates a splash.
Very strange, it works for me. Not sure why it wouldn't work for you.
