I set the dot in the device database for 2 UARTs and, basically, every '51 chip came up which, of course, means that 1 UART was enuf to show when 2 UARTs was selected. Erik
This problem is now corrected. Jon
Thanks, I'll look again. The Keil database is the best and such fast response is greatly appreciated. One suggestion: It would be nice to have selections for "kitchen sink" "RF circuitry on chip" "on board FPGA" etc. I can easily see that would make the selection page enormous and needing frequent updates. Thus how about another selection called something like "chips with VERY unusual features that does not fit the mold". That way, if I were looking for a derivative with a kitchen sink, I could reduce the number of chips to examine to, say, 20 and look at them individually. Erik
Jon, I notice that Keil monitors the forum more intensively than emails directed to them! I reported this same issue to Keil a couple of months ago without much success. Luckily, I see the issue has been solved. Thanks! Jose
"I reported this same issue to Keil a couple of months ago without much success." How do you know that it hasn't just taken 2 months to fix - maybe Erik just got lucky in reporting it 3 days before it was done...?
Maybe, but Keil (at least Reinhard) tends to be more verbose when answering reported problems. Regards, Jose
I reported this same issue to Keil a couple of months ago without much success. Sorry for that. I'm not sure how this issue was reported but this is the first I've heard of it. We make it a point to correct web problems quickly. I notice that Keil monitors the forum more intensively than emails directed to them! That's certainly not typical. Jon
