the forum has been awwwwwwwwwfully slow for some days. I even get occasional time-outs. Erik
must be some other reason. Forum is fast in Germany (server is based in Dallas). Reinhard
Erik, Funny you should mention it, but I noticed the same thing on 8052.com. It may only be my DSL modem though Andy
"Forum is fast in Germany" The forum is slow for me here in England. Specifically, it takes ages between pressing the 'Post' button and the post actually completing. Otherwise, speed is normal. That's how my post got duplicated here: http://www.keil.com/forum/docs/thread6873.asp The forum took so long to respond that I pressed the 'Post' button twice on the same message!
"it takes ages between pressing the 'Post' button and the post actually completing" I just timed it - it took 40s!! :-0
Seems about the same to me. Sometimes it does get slow. Must be that new teal color taking longer to load than the old blue.
"The forum is slow for me here in England. That's 'cause you guys don't comm on the right wires in the cable. Seriously, I'm having the same problems and even got a "500:Page not found" (or something to that effect) this morning after quite a wait.
Is the speed of the forum still slow? It is extremely fast here. Reinhard
I should correct: viewing messages is fast, posting messages is extremly slow. We will investigate. Reinhard
most often it is not too bad, but as others have mentioned posting is where it almost always hit. As an example when I clicked on this thread, WE came back after a long time with "page not found" <-, <-, ->, -> and boom there it was. Erik
posting is where it almost always hit the above posting took about a minute to "take" :( Erik
Well, 1 minute, that's already "real time"! ... (...in the IT world...)
Well, 1 minute, that's already "real time"! ... (...in the IT world...) thanks Stéphane, You made my day Erik
This is a test to see how long replies take. Jon
OK - That took about 50 seconds to post. We're not working on anything and nothing has changed AFAIK. Jon
