Using an 8051/8052 microcontroller to decode a 4x4 matrix keypad

I want to know how to use a lookup table to decode a 4x4 matrix keypad e.g a Grayhill 96 series keypad in 8051/52 assembly language.Please, may you send me example assembly code used in this decoding as well as the keypad/8051/52 interface used.
