is there a way to secure my code in the chip 89c51 so that other can not copy it?
is there any programmer that can do all these nessary tasks to safe the code.
Yes such as Xeltek, Needhams, Bp micro and many others. Erik
Atmel lists compatible programmers on their website.
two things before buying a programmer. 1) check the devicelist and make sure they cover all devices you are interested in AND check if a recently released chip is included. 2) ask what (if anything) they chanrge for updates - you will eventually want to use your programmer for chips that are not out yet. Erik
Hi, If you dont want to buy a programmer (which can be expensive), why not ensure that you to program the chip in circuit? In particular, some/all? atmel chips are easy to use this way. Mark.
"some/all? atmel chips are easy to use this way." That's definitely a "some" - not "all." Check the datasheets carefully!

There is no "incircuit programmer" it is In circuit programming Depending on the device, you need an Atmel cable or, as for the Rx2, you just connect to the serial port. refer to the Atmel Website. The utmost ease of ISP is the Philips P89V51... devices, if your board has a serial port, Thatts IT. No pins to hold low or high, just reset and go. Erik
