I accidentally hit a button on the mouse while moving it across uVision's window. Now the default docking view where the file/regs/book is only the left, content of source file displays on the right, build/output at the bottom and the borders of these three 'windows' are relative to each other, is gone and I can't seem to get it back. uVision manual has nothing to say about the default docking view. Currently, my view shows either the source 'window' is under the 'file/regs/book' window and this latter window is floating annoyingly. I tried bring up the 'docking' menu, workbook mode, etc. but just can't get it back. Has anyone any idea? Thanks
Tried that but it didn't work. The menu has the 'allow docking' checked but my source window is still under the 'Files/Regs/Book' menu and the borders of all three menus are not 'attached'. Is this setup some where in some files that I can just modify the files? Is there a default file that I can just override it? It is getting very hard to work since each time I click to open a source file, I have to resize it in order to see the whole file.
Use REGEDIT and delete the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Keil\uVision2\BSTAT2 and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Keil\uVision2\DSTAT2 You need to delete all sub-keys. uVision2 will then restore the default view.
Got it! Thanks
