Hi there, I need to program a P89LPC932 already soldered on a board. I found an application note from philips that shows this procedure. It requires a chip called MAX3322. Unfortunately, this chip cannot be found. Is there any other way of doing this? Could I used the MAX563CWN that is included in the MCB900 eval-board instead? Thank you.
any TTL to RS-232 chip will do Erik
Hi there, do you have any recommendations? This is the first time I'm doing this. thank you!

Erik, thank you very much for the info. I am trying to implement this (ISP) by usigng the Application Note from philips. I still do not understand some things from it. Like what a header is? they show the schematic but I do not know what that is...do you? here is the web page in case you want to see it. Thanks for your help! http://www.philips.semiconductors.com/acrobat/applicationnotes/AN10221_1.pdf
Don't worry about it, just connect FlashMagic to the serial port and off you go. Erik
