I need to exchange data (AT commands) between 8051 and IrDA enabled cellphones. I have an evaluation board (8051) with an RS-232. I'm looking to find a serial to IrDA converter but I haven't had much luck. Is there any device that can do this the you are aware of? Mass.
Thanks for the replies. What I'm hoping is to find a device that I can connect to the srial port of the board with a 9 pin connector. Is there any off-the-shelf device built based on microchip in the market?
