Find in files path in IDE

In uVision 2.06, when I want to "find in files", I can't figure out how to change the search directory and make it stick. The IDE seems to always want to start in the directory containing the uv2 project file, and I have to select the desired directory each time I do a "find in files".

Is there a way around this? My prior version remembered the path once it was set.

  • There is a drop down box, but I have to reselect the directory every time in this box. It doesn't want to remember the directory. I upgraded when the last support disk came in and that broke the list box. I remember upgrading because the new compiler added a usb.h file which collided with a usb.h file I had in my source and I had to rename my file.
