Hi, everyone! Have is a 35 degree rotary solenoid, shaft extensions at both ends with a return spring on the clockwise shaft end, and has 20cm flyleads and a duty cycle of 100%. On its nameplate--- > KUHNKE > D 33 BOR -F > 24VDC 100%ED > <-- > 9813 How to control it? what kind of signal may be input? analog or digital? It is a pity for I haven't any technical information. Anyone could help me?
"How to control it? what kind of signal may be input? analog or digital? It is a pity for I haven't any technical information. Anyone could help me?" A rotary solenoid is just that a SOLENOID. The nameplate reads 24VDC, so when you apply 24volts DC it turns the shaft to the other position. The current needed, you can measure. If you want to control it from a uC, you need a power transistor to drive the solenoid, such circuitry is found ad nauseam on websites and in books. Have fun, Erik
"It is a pity for I haven't any technical information. Anyone could help me?" You could very easily help yourself: just go to your favourite internet search engine, type "KUHNKE" into the search box, and press 'GO' I got 1156 hits from AltaVista, in the 1st 3 were: http://www.kuhnke.co.uk/ http://www.mviinc.com/kuhnke/default.htm
To Neil Thank you for your often help! To Erik You are a real expert! I have heard of you. Thank you for your reply.
