Installing diff. versions simultaneoulsy

Any of you have experience of maintaining several versions of the DK51 Dev. Kit in a computer?

If it is possible, how can you do it without messing up with the uninstalling procedures?

Thanks in advance,

Jose

  • I have achieved this as follows; eg for v6.14 and 6.22:

    1. Install v6.14 to C:\Program Files\Keil614

    2. Install v6.22 to C:\Program Files\Keil622

    This will give you v6.22 (ie, the last version installed) as your default version;
    To use v6.14, you have to manually run uv2.exe from the Keil614\uv2 folder (of course, you can set up a shortcut for this, and/or add an item to the Explorer Context menu - in the normal manner)

    All settings stored in the Registry (eg, the 'Tools' menu) will, of course, apply to both versions.

    Of course, you're on your own with a setup like this - it would be unreasonable to expect Keil to support it!
