Which Linux version used for ARM cortex M4 ?? and how to install this linux version on TDA3x from Texas instruments ??
Linux needs an MMU, so minimum is Cortex-A or ARM926.
You can run uClinux which doesn't need an MMU.
My kit (tda3x) has MMU
I see it says MMU in the diagram for it. But I'm not convinced they have a memory management unit in the sense meant here. They use MPU to mean microprocessor so they may have avoided saying MPU in that space. Cortex M4 comes with a memory protection unit abbreviated to MPU. Or tthey might simply mean the controllers for the memory.
