C++ std::atomic supported on GNU Arm Embedded Toolchain

Hello,

we are wondering if std::atomic is fully supported on the GNU Arm Embedded Toolchain 9-2020-q2? If yes, since the Embedded Toolchain is for bare metal, is std::atomic implemented lock-free?
