"Add Registry Information" - what is this?

Hi

When running the GNU Arm Embedded Toolchain installer there is a checkbox at the end that prompts to "Add Registry Information".

I did not check it as I've had major issues in the past with different tools taking over anything from Python to cygwin etc.

What does this do if you do check it?  The readme.txt text doesn't say.
