Does anyone try to use RVT + RVI to run trace capturing on Versatile Express A9MPcore with RVDS 4.1? There is no ETM could be identified by auto-configuration, only PTM and ITM shown in scan chain. It looks like PTM is familiar with ETM in CoreSight PTM-A9 architecture. But when I tried to connect with analyzer, it got error message as below:
> analyzer,connect
Initialising Trace Support
Warning: PTM support is not available
Error V20017 (Vehicle): Logic Analyzer is not setup. See Output log for details.
Error: [TA0003] Could not initialise ETM trace support
I can use the same procedure to connect on PB-A8 and got instruction and data trace but the same procedure failed on Versatile Express A9MPcore. Could anyone help me out? Thanks in advance.

The A9 only supports a PTM, not a ETM. And I have a feeling that PTM isn't supported by RVD. The support is in their new debugger - DS-5.
