hi,
Thanks in advance for any help to the question below.....
I am facing a performance issue, while profiling on 2 beagle boards(Revision-2 board and Revision-3 board)
The performance is dropping when profiling is done on the revision-3 beagle board by 5%.
I am not able to figure out the exact reason behind this.
The board details are:
board 1: Processor : ARMv7 Processor rev 2 (v7l)
BogoMIPS : 473.71
board 2: Processor : ARMv7 Processor rev 3 (v7l)
BogoMIPS : 491.57
Please suggest me a way out of this...?

I believe that the later board revision includes a newer version of the OMAP3 chip, which would explain the changed performance figure.

"The performance is dropping when profiling is done on the revision-3 beagle board by 5%."
Are you sure? From the numbers you posted, I see this the other way around - the revision 3 board appears faster by about 5%.
