I am doing coding in ARM- NEON Assembly on Cortex-A8 (ARMv7-a) architecture?

How to check that branch miss predict happened to avoid extra cycles?

    Where should I add code to enable user enable register ?in kernel which file?

    Poke the appropriate bit in to the User Enable Register in the kernel, and then PMU counters should be visible in user-space.
