This is the error.
Please let me know the issue
Hi,
Can you please tell me a bit more about the issue please as there is not much information here.
Has this ever worked before ?
Is the target in Silicon or an FPGA or connected to a hardware emulation platform ?
What ARM processor cores are on the platform ?
If you do not wish to discuss this via a public forum then please send this information to support-sw@arm.com and we can discuss it there.
As you are using DS-5 v5.23.0 then it is likely you have a valid support and maintenance agreement so ARM Support should be able to help.
thanks,
Stuart Hirons
No, I am working on this platform for the first time.
The target is in Silicon
Cortex-A9.
Ok so were you successfully able to auto-detect the target using PCE and then use this same platform for your 'Broadcom-Helix4' configuration ?
I am asking as I need to work out the level of functionality/connectivity in the comms between the target and DS-5.
If you have autodetected it then clearly basic JTAG comms works fine (or at least it did when you auto-detected the target).
Regards,
Stuart
Which ubuntu version do you use ?
You can update your configuration (alt+T)
sudo apt-get install mtpfs
In some case this could help you to fix this problem
regards
Thanks for all the response.
I reverted to an older release (5.17.1) and this issue got resolved.
My OS is Ubuntu 15.10 64 bit
You should not have to revert to an older version of DS-5 to get this to work!
I am very interested in enabling you to get connection working working with DS-5 v5.23 with your target.
Please let me know if you are willing to work with me on this and we can work together to get it resolved.
