When i try to add a license to the ARM ds-5 v5.29.1, i get the error " Unable to execute API call /api/v1/connect".
I found some earlier threads aoubt the same issue and it seems to be a problem on ARM's side.
Can you do something to restore the service.

HiI work at Arm.Evaluation licenses are only available for the latest version of Arm DS, currently Arm DS 2023.1.Evaluation licences are not available for earlier versions of Arm DS, or for versions of DS-5 (such as your DS-5 v5.29.1).You must install Arm DS 2023.1 first.I've just tried this myself and was able to obtain an evaluation licence successfully, so I believe our server is working correctly.This may have been a temporary glitch, so suggest you try again after installing Arm DS 2023.1.Perhaps access to the Arm server is blocked by a firewall on your side. You may need to check this with your IT team.Stephen

In fact, i purshased a license in 2021,
i activated the license using a portable wifi usb key. but it didn't work. since then i have not used ds-5.
Now i have changed my pc and tried it by plugging the wifi usb key and importing the .lic file but it didn't work.
Here is the begining of the email i recieved:
"Dear Embedded Developer,Thank you for your purchase. The full-featured Arm* Development Studio for Intel® SoC FPGA Edition Toolkit is activated via a paid license.For more information on SoC EDS Standard and Pro Editions, refer to http://www.intel.com/socedsIn this email you will find a license activation code or serial number for your Arm* DS for Intel® SoC FPGA Edition product.

my question is can i use this license for DS-5 v5.29.1. knowing that in your email you mentioned that the first step is to download the latest version of ARM DS for Intel SoC-FPGA Edition Toolkit
You also mentioned that i should use 4. FLEXnet for ARM Tools License Management Guide: but in fact i didn't notice that when i activated my license and i performed a classical activation by just selecting the host id of the portable wifi usb key.
now i found this in the FLEXnet for ARM Tools License Management Guide:
"To enable a network card address to be used as the host ID for a node-locked license, your Windows system must have one of the following installed: • The SNMP service. • The NETBEUI Transport Protocol. • The NW Link (IPX/SPX) Transport Protocol."
my second question is: can i correct this error and reactivate the license as Node-locking to network adapter cards, knowing that i have never got use of the license.

when i try togin in the link you sent me (with the email address and passowrd of my arm account on which i have the license ) i get this message "Your account is almost set up, however, before you can use it, we need to review the details to comply with export regulations. it has been long time that i havent login with that account. could you please fix this?
