Hi,
I am investigating the most suitable probes/adapters to use tor the debug/trace of a dual-core Cortex-R52 (to Armv8-R). The adapter needs to support both debug via jtag AND a Coresight-compliant 32-bits wide trace catpure.
As an aside, we use ARM Compiler 6.18.
My preferred choice is to use Arm Development Studio and looking at this link:
https://developer.arm.com/Tools%20and%20Software/Arm%20Development%20Studio
It seems that the DSTREAM-PT probe is my only option. The ULINK2 adapters listed dont appear to work with Cortex-R52, only Cortex-M??
Have I got this right pls? Do I have any other options (i.e. IDE and adapters) that we can consider?
Thanks
HiMy name is Stephen and I work at Arm.Referring to the DSTREAM comparison table developer.arm.com/.../DSTREAM-PT, I believe that DSTREAM-PT would be a good option for you.The ULINK-family probes only support Cortex-M and Arm7/9 processors, and not Cortex-R52.Sorry, I don't know whether probes from other vendors might be suitable.Hope this helpsStephen
Many thanks for confirmation
