Hi
What sort of probe / connection would I need to connect ARM Dev Studio, on Windows, to a NXP FRDM-K22F board please?
(The NXP FRDM-K22F supports 'OpenSDAv2.1 serial and debug interface').
Best regards
David
Hi David, I don't have this board to hand, but have used similar. From a quick search, I believe this supports CMSIS-DAP interface.https://www.nxp.com/design/software/development-software/sensor-toolbox-sensor-development-ecosystem/opensda-serial-and-debug-adapter:OPENSDA?tid=vanOpenSDA
Go to File > New > Hardware Connection, and search for the MK22FN512VLH12 device on the board (select uninstalled CMSIS-Packs if necessary - pack will be automatically installed in next step)
In the Edit configuration pane, select CMSIS-DAP as the Connection Type pull-down.
Note - I found the below articles whilst searching, which I think you should read before attempting to connect. I recommend you first update your board to ensure latest firmware:https://community.nxp.com/t5/Kinetis-Microcontrollers/Freedom-OpenSDA-Firmware-Issues-Reported-on-Windows-10/ta-p/1112541https://os.mbed.com/blog/entry/DAPLink-bootloader-update/
