Streamline .apc and/or .apd internal data format

I want to write my own tool to process .apd or .apc files. For example, I want to extract per process/thread information. What is the internal structure of .apc or .apd files?

I know that I can obtain these data using GUI, but I don't want to use GUI.

My team uses the command line tools to export a CSV report and process that. Does that work for your use case?

The .apc format is defined by the Gator-Streamline protocol, which is documented in /path-to-ds-5-install-dir/arm/gator/protocol

To clarify, there are other parts within the .apc folder that are not documented nor public. Only the data in the numbered files (e.g. 0000000000) is part of the Gator-Streamline protocol.
