Linaro support for ARM processor porting

Hi Experts,

I usually find the SoC vendors (TI/Freescale/...) will be providing the Linux kernel support for the A7/A8/A9 series based SoC's.

I am just curious whether the Vendor will be fully owning the porting work for the Processor core or Linaro provides any already ported code with Benchmark?
