Dear ARM community,
I am a PhD student in France. My research involves the detailed architectural simulation of ARM Cortex-M4 processors, for which I require a cycle-accurate model.
I have attempted to locate the necessary tools through the following steps:
I referred to the ARM documentation for CPAKS (Cycle Model Performance Analysis Kits ), but the provided download links are no longer functional.
I then investigated ARM FastModels as a potential alternative. However, it require a license to build the model, which I coudln't get.
Could you please provide guidance on the correct pathway for academic researchers to obtain these simulation resources? I would be grateful for information on:
The current status of CPAKS and any updated access procedures.
The availability of academic licenses or packages for FastModels or similar cycle-accurate solutions.
Thank you for your assistance.
I look forward to your reply.
Sincerely,

Thank for your reply. I requested access. But I need to simulate for M4 processor in order to get the sequence of instructions, as well as the time taken by each instruction to execute, from the processor . will these help ?
