Question about DSU behavior which is connected to an interconnect through CHI Interface

Hi All,

When a DSU connects to an interconnect through CHI interface, it is the master and it can activate and de-activate the link to CHI. I was wondering if it is required for the DSU to take itself out of coherency (by toggling SYSCO pins) when it de-activates the link to disable any snoop transactions coming into it from the interconnect? I did not find any reference to this either in the CHI Spec (version E) or the DSU (revision r4p1) Spec. But if this is not specified, I was wondering what would happen if the DSU deactivates the link, but is still participating in coherency? Because then the interconnect has to send the snoops but the link is deactivated.

Any reference documents are appreciated.

Thanks
