Hello I was curious about which ARM launch/starter board would be best used to create an electronics controller for a 32 bit 3D FDM printer? I was thinking that I've seen one project for the TI TM4C123G launchpad that might work. But are there better ones, and by better I mean - easy transfer of existing libraries, easy integration with stepper motor driver boards and still allow true 32 bit operations for processing speed and other threaded processes.
Hello everyone,
I for one love the mBed environment, due to code reusability and tons of libraries available. The "downside" is the lack of supported chips and vendors (amongst the supported list are "some" chips from ST, Freescale and NXP, alongside with Silicon Labs and Nordic).
I have used the Freescale FRDM-K64F (Cortex-M4) and found no bumps during the process. >> https://developer.mbed.org/platforms/
