hi everyones
I have product Arm Cortex-A76 Paired with a Cortex-A55 CPU DynamIQ technology in Snapdragon 720G Mobile Platform.
Due to the old Energy Model (EM) used until Android Common Kernel v4.14 which grafted itself onto the sched domain hierarchy, mobile topologies is represented with "phantom domains". But I would improve topology for DynamIQ in my mobile for more beneficit.
I have doing active research for resolve this problems . I have find this series patch https://lore.kernel.org/lkml/20200206191957.12325-2-valentin.schneider@arm.com/ my question it is safe to backport this series patch in 4.14 ? or do you know better solution .
cordially Louis Cockx
The EAS patch should be usually Linux kernel agonistic ( unless there are some dependent kernel patches that this EAS patch relies on ).
So you can try to back port it into Kernel 4.14 from your side.
