hi, experts:
TZC-380 : TZ Address Space Controller
It could control dram regions more detailed than BP147(TZPC).
So:
Will BP147 be deprecated?
Or these 2 IPs have different usuage?
best wishes,
BP147 is used to protect APB perpherals, and TZC-380 is used to control AXI DRAM regions.
TZC is used to partition DRAM into secure and non-secure regions.
TZPC is used to control other IP. It has TZR0SIZE to control TZMA(BP141) and a number of other output signals that can be used as input to other IP.
hi, peter:
Thanks a lot.
I got it:
TZC is dedicated for DRAM.
Hi,
Recently ARM has developed TZC-400 to provide security protection for different regions of DRAM.
TZC-400 supersedes TZC-380.
TrustZone Controllers - ARM
TZC-400 features include
- support for 1, 2 or 4 pass through AMBA interfaces (AXI3, AXI4 or ACE-Lite)
- security for 8 different regions
- support for DRM usecases with a protected video path
- fast path for low latency masters
- support for larger numbers of outstanding transactions (up to 256)
I hope this helps with your investigations into TrustZone IP!
