When the generic timer starts to tick?

Hi all,

When does the generic timer in ARMv7 start to tick? I am sure that I've configured properly, but both CNTVCT and CNTPCT do not start to increase. What am I missing?

    Hi Martin, thanks for your comment.

    Actually, I had found that the system counter of the SoC I am using was in the SoC part as you mentioned, but its datasheet does not mention that at all. In other words, it was completely "undocumented" in SoC vendor's document. As the generic timer was by ARM, so they do not seem to pay much attention to mention it.
