Pin output last state when programming

Hi all,

I'm using IAR 6.5 with MSP430, sometimes when I program the MCU the output pin goes on 'H' instead of 'L' and causing power failure (due to the analog function of that pin).

My assumption when I close the debugger while this pin in 'H' state it wont go down.

Is it possible to make sure the pin state while programming will stay on 'L'
