Arm and Synopsys Extend Collaboration and Kick off WW Workshop Series

1 minute read time.

Arm and Synopsys just announced an extension of the long-standing collaboration between the companies, including a multi-year subscription agreement for access to Arm IP (CPU and GPU cores, system IP, physical IP and POP) to improve power, performance, area and time-to-results for customers designing with the latest Arm IP and Synopsys tools.

"We have worked closely with Synopsys for more than 25 years to ensure our mutual customers can get products to market quickly and still meet their power, performance, and area targets," said Rene Haas, executive vice president and president, IP Products Group, Arm. "Through these ongoing collaborations, we can continue to provide the ecosystem with the solutions needed to design, implement, and verify their SoCs effectively."

In addition, we announced a worldwide series of free technical workshops on accelerating Arm-based SoC design and verification; each begins with an Arm keynote then splits into design and verification tracks. Topics include:

  • Accelerate software bring-up and system validation leveraging Arm Fast Models, Cycle Models and debugger in Synopsys tools
  • Optimize Arm-based SoC implementation using Synopsys Design Platform with Fusion Technology
  • Achieve optimal Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) on latest Arm Cortex-A processors and Arm DynamIQ technology
  • Accelerate power integrity closure with RedHawk  Analysis Fusion within IC Compiler II
  • Maximize verification ROI with Synopsys Verification Continuum
