The NEON™ Programmer's Guide provides information about how to use the ARM Advanced SIMD instructions to improve the performance of intensive data processing applications running on ARM processors. Read this guide in collaboration with the Cortex™-A Series Programmer's Guide for general information about programming for ARM processors.
The document is only available to registered ARM customers. See, NEON™ Programmer's Guide.
Really good to see this document become available. I was involved in reviewing it before publication.
NEON is such a powerful tool which is often poorly understood. But, as this document shows, there's a wealth of resources available to start programming with NEON. The table of contents from the document gives an idea of the breadth which it covers:
I would really encourage anyone with an interested in NEON to have a good look at it.

For those who missed that episode, when the ARM Cortex-A programmers guide was release in 2011 (see ARM technology software newbie? Try the Cortex A-Series Programmer's Guide), it really received very positive feedback. Readers especially liked the clear writing style.
Also, programmers sent suggestions which were used to create an improved version of the document.

Hi, Yes, sure. Please feel free to move it. Thanks.
Hi Jim, this is excellent news!
May I move to your blog to the Processor group?
It is the topic and where readers will more naturally find it.
