3 minute read time.

We are delighted to announce the Arm Developer Program, which will bring together developers from across the globe who are all part of Arm’s industry-leading ecosystem. These developers are enabling the technology revolutions of the future, one that is being built on Arm.

The Arm Developer Program provides the perfect space for developers to collaborate and build professional networks across the Arm ecosystem. It also delivers unique access to Arm’s experts giving interactive talks on key technology topics.

Most importantly, we are excited to have you shape the future of the program. We are planning to offer all sorts of opportunities and benefits to our community over time, and you can actively influence the program’s direction and tell us what matters most. This is part of our commitment to build meaningful, long-term relationships with you, the world's most important technology users, builders and decision-makers. The people who are developing and deploying on Arm-based hardware.

Become an “Arm Ambassador”

While any Arm developer can join the Arm Developer Program as a member, a select few high-achieving members can become an “Arm Ambassador”. Accepted by application only, Arm Ambassadors are the public face of Arm, recognized for spreading Arm excellence around the world.

A community packed with developer insights

On joining the Arm Developer Program, all members will be able to share ideas and interact with other passionate developers in a community in Arm's Discord server. In this developer-friendly community, you can share your own Arm-based personal or professional projects and content to gain insights from the community and Arm experts.

Alongside the Discord community, there will be special talks from Arm experts on a regular cadence. Each talk is designed to enhance technical knowledge on key issues and provide support and guidance to common challenges being faced by those in the Arm Developer Program.

Just some of the leading experts that play influential roles in the Arm Developer Program include:

  • Pete Harris, a resident Arm expert on profiling and optimizing gaming rendering workloads running on Arm Mali-based – and also future Arm immortalis-based – mobile devices.
  • Jason Andrews, a distinguished engineer with expertise at every key touchpoint in the development cycle, including IP selection, system architecture, software development, models, compilers, and performance analysis.
  • Zach Lasiuk, a humane technology developer and designer, focused on aligning technology with humanity's best interests.
  • Christopher Seidl, who is responsible for Keil MDK, Arm’s leading development environment for Cortex-M based microprocessors, with expertise across IoT and Embedded development.
  • Robert Wolff, a studied electrical engineer and developer evangelist who also serves as advisor to the electrical engineering alumni board of directors at UCSD, DevNet, and the IoTeX blockchain.
  • Pareena Verma, an expert on modeling, compilers, debuggers, and simulation tools following years of supporting software developers and SoC architects in their projects.
  • Mary Bennion, a creative and passionate technology leader with a hands-on approach to bringing developers and partners front and center, so they can showcase their products and solutions on Arm.
  • Robert Williamson, who leads a team of performance and solutions engineers to support Arm's partners that focus on cloud, networking, telco, and 5G solutions.

How to join and make your voice heard

Joining the Arm Developer Program is straightforward. All developers need to do is visit the landing page, complete the entry form and specify the type of membership requested. Members will get instant access to the community. Arm Ambassadors will then receive an email acceptance followed by an onboarding introduction call with the Arm experts.

Building the future

With over 230+ billion chips in everything from sensors to smartphones to servers, Arm technology is at the heart of the digital world that connects people, enhances the human experience, and makes anything possible. The diversity of the computing devices running on Arm is unmatched by any other computing architecture in the world, providing access to developers working across the vast tech landscape of IoT, cloud computing, gaming, mobile and automotive. The Arm Developer Program is the best space for these developers to learn from leading experts and network with other like-minded individuals that are building the future of computing.

We are excited to bring the Arm Developer Program to life and welcome you to our new community. Keep an eye out for opportunities to give your feedback about the program so we can define the future of computing, again – together.
